Anyone who wears glasses surely pondering the possibility of substitution of the contact lenses.
How do I know this is the best, most cost-effective and tested alternative to
  traditional glasses.

In our offer you will find different types of contact lenses on the market today. In order to facilitate the optimal option for you we split them, depending on the mode of wear, and the manufacturer.

Below you'll find some basic information, useful for all who wear or thinking about replacing glasses for contact lenses. We also remind that before the first purchase is required for a visit to the ophthalmologist in order to refine the relevant parameters of the contact lenses.

Main features of the geometry and size for each type of contact lens are administered by three major parameters: diameter, radius of curvature and power, as well as material from which they are made.
Currently worn contact lenses can be divided into three main types:
  • soft contact lenses
  • hard contact lenses
  • hard gaspermable contact lenses
  • cosmetic lenses and color

Soft contact lenses - are made of plastic, which consists of water in a proportion from 36% to 70%.  This makes them soft and Purging Plug Systems which is very important to maintain good function of the cornea, which needs a steady stream of oxygen.  Soft lenses can be divided due to the defect corrected vision (short-sightedness, presbyopia, astigmatism) and stability (from 1 day to 1 month and 3 to 12 months). The lenses are worn daily in the system or without a break but keep in mind that the way of wearing can be prescribed only after careful investigation specialist care of the patient.

Recent achievement in the field of contact lenses are the one day contact lenses.  Apply them in a radically reduces the possibility of infection and eliminates the need to nurture them.  Daily exchanges are now the most recommended by most ophthalmologists way to wear contact lenses.

Hard contact lenses -    are made of plastic which is impermeable to oxygen.  When wearing these lenses oxygen to the cornea is supplied only by a constant exchange of tears under contact lens. Hard contact lenses are less comfortable and convenient than soft lenses and require more demanding proper care.  Easily manipulated and cleaned. Their diameter is smaller than the diameter of the cornea . With the pressure exerted by the upper eyelid with tears flowing between the cornea and lens. However, due to the rigidity of plastic lenses do not adhere so closely to the surface of the eye and may be easier to move such as the upper eyelid.

Hard gaspermable contact lenses  made from such materials allow the penetration by oxygen.  Have characteristics of both hard and soft contact lenses. With greater flexibility and the ability to transmit oxygen, may have a larger diameter than the hard contact lenses. Similarly to hard contact lenses may cause discomfort at the beginning of wearing.

Colour contact lesnes - This soft contact lenses, which have been produced with colored plastic.  The color of them isn't so intense that radically change the color of eyes, but it can add another hue, which, especially in light irises can change the appearance of a person in a very natural way.  Such lenses can also be used for therapeutic purposes in the case of certain eye pathologies, such as the lack of the iris, to treat blindness, or for purely cosmetic.

Advantages of soft contact lenses compared to hard lenses:
  • more comfort
  • thanks to its stability can be used in sports and active lifestyle
  • may only be used periodically
  • they can satisfy both aesthetic objectives and practical
  • reduce the risk of damage resulting from the inability to impose or carry
  • are more easily tolerated and require a shorter period of adaptation
  • donning and removal is relatively easier than in the case of hard contact lenses
